About Us

Despite a long history spanning more than 40 years, Andavira Editora is embarking on a new chapter today, following the closure of its founding partner, and with new ownership. This change cannot ignore its previous era, with a legacy of over three hundred published technical and university titles, contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge generated in universities, especially in Galicia.

Times, customs, and the needs of the university world have changed radically since 1984, when it was founded, being at that time a benchmark in the search for new formulas that enabled many new authors and professors to publish their works, supported by the new technological possibilities that accompanied us throughout those years.

Today, as then, our raison d'être is to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, while also facilitating the publication of authors' works. To do this, we will use, as we did in the past, all our know-how in the graphic and publishing world, incorporating innovative means to bring our authors' books to the largest possible number of people.
